Purification Facility

There is generating 1,200 tons of wastewater per day at the Damyang plant, whose COD concentration is 2,000 ppm, but which is purified to about 3.8 ppm by the facility and discharged directly or to a sewage treatment facility. The processing capacity is 2,000 tons per day.

Byproduct Treatment Room

Dried bean-curd dregs (protein content 2.5% or more) and bean husks (protein content 8%) that are produced incidentally while processing soybeans are used as good feed ingredients for livestock, and important ingredients are extracted from bean germ and used in cosmetics and other functional products in Japan and Korea. Main Customers: Hanmi Feed, Cosmos Corp.

Water Purification Facility

There are two kinds of water purification facilities used in the Damyang plant--the water soft system using ionic resin to produce soft water for processes and the reverse osmosis system to purify water for products. Water treatment standards suitable for food and beverage standards are also prepared and thoroughly managed.
